Enrolled Agent (EA)
An enrolled agent is a person who has earned the privilege of representing taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service by either passing a three-part comprehensive IRS test covering individual and business tax returns, or through experience as a former IRS employee.
Enrolled agent status is the highest credential the IRS awards. Individuals who obtain this elite status must adhere to ethical standards and complete 72 hours of continuing education courses every three years. Visit IRS.gov to learn more.
We have an Enrolled Agent on staff.
Annual Filing Season Program (AFSP)
What is the Annual Filing Season Program for return preparers and why does it matter? The AFSP is a voluntary program designed to encourage tax return preparers to participate in continuing education (CE) courses. Achieving a AFSP certificate of completion means that the preparer has participated in and completed the necessary IRS continuing education requirements. Preparers who complete the AFSP are also included in a new public database being added to IRS.gov for taxpayer use in searching for qualified tax return preparers.
All our preparers meet this qualification.
If you need assistance with any taxation issue, you should seek the help of a tax professional. As a professional tax preparer and member of the National Association of Tax Professionals (NATP), we can assist you with a review of your tax history and answer questions on how taxation issues may impact your future.
